Create an interdisciplinary lesson plan or workshop based on a community social issue that integrates at least two art disciplines for a unit of study. Provide an introduction and conclusion to the lesson/workshop that addresses how the work serves the diverse needs of your learners while creating an equitable learning environment that connects them to their communities in a responsible and respectful way. Include a reflection to why this is significant to you as an educator.

This lesson/workshop must consider involving and/or collaborating with community members such as families, local businesses, or service organizations as partners in the learning process. This community outreach component can take the form of, but is not limited to a fieldtrip, guest speaker(s), a service learning partnership between the students and a community organization, association, or service club.

The lesson plan/workshop must contain the grade or audience level, disciplines/subjects, art disciplines and multiple intelligences, goals, materials list, activities with clearly stated procedures, observations (if applicable), arts based assessment strategies and a resource list in APA format
