1.select a story about a current event in american society.
it has to revolve around a social issue or series of sociologically issues. give title and source of your story, as well as the place, date and time of its occurance.

2.summarize the event, what happened by briely stating the facts.

3.as a student of sociology, how do you analyze the story that is unfolding, or has unfolded? explain why the characters in your story are experiencing what they are going through? please explain any concepts or theroy you use in bold.

4.what can the individuals concerned(main characters) and /or society do to improve the problematic condition you identified. or if you know whether society is already doing something to address this problem.

5.if society is addressing or has already addressed the problem, do you agree with the solution and why? fi you do not agree, what would you recommend?
