Using the excel file Chem L112_Stoichiometry ML_YOUR NAME, create a table listing the final concentrations of each of the stock solutions (metal and all three ligands) in both g/L and molarity. Remember to account for any dilutions.
Present a figure showing the wells in the tissue culture plate as a function of the number of drops of the metal complex and the ligand (after dilution, if that was needed) for each ligand studied by your group. Label each well carefully by color. An example is given on the following page.
For the spectrophotometric experiments, create a table for each ligand studied by your group using the excel file Chem L112_Stoichiometry ML_YOUR NAME, This table should contain:
• volume of solution added to each cuvette
• concentration of solution in cuvette
• the absorbances of each of the solutions

Your report should discuss how the two methods, tissue culture plate and spectrophotometric, both gave information needed to determine the correct ligand-to-metal ratio.
A graph presenting the volume of metal solution and absorbance, similar to figure E-1 in your lab manual should be prepared for each ligand, showing how the two lines converge to the ideal value. If you draw the lines in on a print out of your graph, you may either hand the graphs in to the instructor separately or scan them in and include them with this report.
Calculate n from the ideal mole amounts of the metal and the ligand for each ligand.
Do the n values determined experimentally correlate with the n value predicted from the structures of each ligand? Why or why not?
