This is a  research PhD proposal in statistics. I have got the below guide from my supervisor and want to make a Phd proposal according to his adivice.

Read Jonge et all EJOR “Uncertainty in lifetime distribution and effect on optimum maintenance strategy”
And write a proposal to extend this to
1. Other policies
2. A dynamic policy that is adapted as failure data arise and the lifetime distribution becomes better estimated.

Please ensure that all the necessary section are included in the proposal, introduction, related work, problem statement, research aim and objectives, methodology, time plan (3 year research and references.
