AlJazera Children Channel ,the television industry as a case study in technological change
Order Description
A 2,000 word case study of one media business and its response to technological change
AlJazera Children Channel ,the television industry as a case study in technological change. Our purpose will be to consider the broad changes wrought by digital
technologies, and to consider some of the impacts on the industry as a whole. The JCC will be used to highlight some key ways in which television companies might
harness the potential of digital technologies to further their own market positioning/business model.
what you are expected to do is to choose one company, and to discuss its activities in relation to the rise of digital technologies. So this could be a well
established company with a significant history where you look at how it has changed its products or practices in order to remain successful and relevant in the era of
digital technologies. Or you could consider a brand new kind of company as a result of opportunities created by technology. In either case you need to be very focussed
in your analysis and talk about just one or two concrete aspects of the company in question rather than trying to give a vague overview of a large corporation.
