The development of an Alzheimer’s test promotes effective treatment of the disease. However, late administration of the medicines causes little or no effect on the patients. Change of lifestyle which includes the diet and physical activities decreases the chances of dementia development. Dementia patients should be advised to change their healthy habits. Early detection of Alzheimer’s symptoms ensures early diagnosis.
Living with a sense of doom

According to bioethicists, Alzheimer’s patients suffer depression and anxiety, which affects their lives. Moreover, they feel stigmatized and ashamed. Stress caused by Alzheimer’s leads to forgetfulness and confusion to the patients. Memory lapse advances and becomes a dangerous disease. Individuals who test positive develop a critical judgment of their memories, which worsens their condition. However, blood tests recorded to be inaccurate, and thus affect the patients mentally.

•    Probability of testing of the disease can be reduced only by means to stop or treat the disease were identified.
Due to ethical issues surrounding the test for Alzheimer’s, an announcement of a new blood test offered a new hope for transformation concerning the disease. The test cannot be successful because other independent research groups must first validate the preliminary outcomes of the test. Mark Mapstone in Rochester Medical Center University asserted that the test could only be used on individual with high risk of the disease. These people are those that have a history of the disease (Moore & Moore, 2012).
Using the test on these groups of people can help the specialists to acquire more information about Alzheimer’s; therefore, reducing its development. From various observations, changes that occur in the blood are due to failure of the cell membranes in the blood of the high-risk individuals. A program referred as A4 Study in another research is carrying out an experimental drug on volunteers to reduce chances of memory loss cause by Alzheimer’s disease. An alternative treatment was proclaimed at Harvard medical school, which is a protein occurring naturally. This protein hinders the development of disease and any other dementia-related disorder.
The result of the naturally occurring protein that be used to prevent the disease has shed a new hope for scientists and patients. However, the continuity of lack of an effective means of treatment for Alzheimer’s, has led experts to wonder whether to offer the test or not. The major reason of contemplating about the test is the complexity of the disease. If more means of slowing or preventing the disease are identified, then the testing is not a good idea.
