Order Description

You will need to watch the documentary An Inconvenient Truth and write a 1 page review of the video. Just keep it simple and tell me what you think based on what you saw. You must cite specifics facts/statements/or ideas that are presented in the video. This will be evidence that you actually watched the video, and did not just make it up bases on what you have seen on T.V. Your submission should be at least one page in length, double spaced, 12pt. Times New Roman font, and must be submitted in the dropbox as an attached file. This is the only location that you may submit your work to me. This video might be available online, but if not, it is available in the video stores and libraries, so feel free to pick up a copy there, just don’t wait until the end to locate a copy. The specific deadline for this review will be posted on the website and/or on the calendar, but for planning purposes, it will be incorporated into the Air unit. Grading: Since this is a review of a video, and it is largely your opinion, there are no right or wrong answers. If you meet the length requirements, you will basically get all of the points. Deductions will be as mathematical as possible (e.g.: ½ a page =25 points, ¾ page = 38 points). The only other way that you can AND WILL lose points is if you do not cite SPECIFIC examples in the movie to demonstrate that you viewed the video. Without specifics, you will lose 50% of the overall points. (Now, just to clarify… I’m not trying to be a jerk about this. I need a few points from the video for confirmation purposes. You don’t need to scribble down notes throughout and pause and rewind to make sure that you are accurate. Overall, I just want you to watch the video and take something away from it. Even better, make a friend or your family (opening is not good for little kids. Common sense dictates this) watch the video with you.)
