Task Description: Based on class readings (weeks 1-7) and other relevant sources, student will individually write a critique on curriculum design and development. In your critique:

•Analyse, compare and contrast ideas, including ideologies that shape the curriculum.

•Relate the critique toADEC curriculum (Abu Dhai Education Council).

•Support the essay with relevant references – peer reviewed articles, seminal work, key authors in the field.

The length of the written essay is 1000 words (excluding references).

Organization and structure follows APA 6th edition: Introduction, body and conclusion; references and mechanics (Spelling & grammar)

Criteria and Marking: The written essay is assessed using a rubric on the following criteria:
