Answer the following questions….

Our discussion this week will focus on the performance appraisal process. I would like for each of you to critique the performance appraisal process for either your current employer, or a past employer if you are not currently employed. Be sure to address the following (but your posts are not limited to these topics):

1. What type of performance appraisal system was used? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this method?
2. Did the appraiser engage in any of the rater errors described in the text (pp. 142-143)? If so, which ones?
3. What recommendations would you make to improve the performance appraisal process?
