Applying Critical Discourse Analysis to the translation of political texts in the media: A Narrative Approach

proposal to start off by writing about previous research in the subject of (critical discourse analysis, and Narrative Theory , with special focus on Mona’s Bakert work on Narrative Theory. kindly include the work of Basil Hatim and Ian Mason ”Discourse and the Translator) + (Ruth Wodak and Michael Meyer ”Methods of Critical Discourse Analysis)+( Isabela Fairclough+Norman Fairclough”Political Discourse Analysis)+(Norman Fairclough”Media Discourse)+(James Paul Gee”How to do Discourse Analysis)+(Mona Baker”Translation and Conflict A Narrative Account)+(Mona Baker” Critical Readings in Translation Studies”part3 on Text,Discourse and Ideology)+(Jeremy Munday ”introducing Translation Studies” Chapter6 on Discourse and register analysis approaches). I will also upload a number of articles on Narrative Approach in Translation studies and a link for a recording on the same topic.
I want the the proposal to start off with identifying the state of the research on the topic such as what other authors have focused on and what is missing. Please focus on the issue of Critical Discourse analysis and Narrative Theory.
The number of recourses used are left to the writer preference.
