There have been questions about whether fresh graduate are dumber and lazier, this question arises as a result of higher anticipations that many fresh graduates have after being ushered to the world. The article focuses on advising fresh graduates toprepare to move from secure college life to unsecure job market which is full of uncertainties. The articleurges 2012 graduates to be realistic and avoid being so choosey when looking for jobs. The article further addresses the argument of whether fresh graduate are dumber and lazier.

He argued that, even if the intern was very brilliant with her academic qualifications on her hands, she was not performing well on the field exercise that he allotted to her. He told students that, they were no better than the intern and rather they should be prepared to face the reality on the competitive world. Mr. Stephensubstantiated his argument by assertingthat, education should teach students on how to think which has not been the case to many fresh graduates. He discovered that the brains of many students whom he interviewing from top school were blank just like an empty map. This meant that, they did not have any knowledge that education system intends them to acquire.

The article further urges 2012 graduates to take into account at least ten things as they are being ushered out from their respective universities. The first thing is that,they should be prepared to face the worldchallenges. The second thing is faith, fresh graduates are advice to have faith. This is because, faith will always remain after the world has taken everything away. The third thing is that, they should propagate proper relationship with people they met in their lives.People are being referred to as the greatest asset that one should posses since they have a great impact in our lives. The forth thing is that, one should be unique from everyone else so that the world can distinguish them from the rest of the crowd. The article continues to urge graduates to take any job that come on their way and avoid being so choosey. The sixth thing that, graduates are advised to be serious with what they do in life so that other people they met can take them seriously. The article further advises fresh graduates to pursue success and embrace it.The eighth thing that fresh graduates should know is that, education never ends but rather, it is a life, long, process with no end. Additionally, fresh graduates should know how to distinguish between happiness and joy as the continue to pursue their undertakings in life. Finally, they should avoid leaving above their means but rather to live a life that they can afford with the available financial resources(Stephens,P.2).

Fresh graduates shouldrecognize that they know very little by the time they are being released out of job market.Thererfore, they should avoid being dumber and lazier by embracing Mr. Stephen advises as discussed above. Additionally, they should be humble and avoid ego that come with most fresh graduates.
