Based on the case study provided, you are required to complete the Inclusion Improvement Plan

(IIP) attached to this assessment.

Under each heading of your IIP, it is essential that you:

  • Demonstrate your ability to formulate questions and make decisions about the care and inclusion of the child with additional needs from the case study.
  • Consider the National Quality Standards, including National Learning Frameworks such as EYLF, and any other relevant literature and resources from your learning materials, including concepts of inclusion and diversity.

Once you have completed the IIP, you are to write a 700-800 word reflection on the planning process.

Things to consider in your reflection are:

  • The capacity to include children with additional needs– How effective is this plan for implementation?
  • What might be some of the issues that impact on educators’ capacity to provide a care environment that is inclusive of all children?
