In a unified, coherent, and well-focused essay, address one of the following topics, choosing at least 3 of the texts we have discussed in class and developing your answer with detailed textual references and close analysis. Italicize titles of novels and put quotation marks around story titles. You will be judged on the quality of your argument and development, attention to detail, and the clarity and correctness of your expression.
