Read the article Plastic Seas from the Week Four Supplementary Reading page.
Use at least two academic online resources to research the problems with plastic and how it is affecting marine life and islands in the Pacific Ocean.
Pick ONE of the following choices to complete to demonstrate your knowledge of the issue:

Option One:

Write a summary of approximately 250 words of your findings in which you provide a brief overview of how plastic is affecting marine life and islands in the Pacific Ocean along with a suggestion on how to curb this problem.
Include references for the resources you used. See West Style Writing Handbook for help with referencing sources.

Option Two:

Create a pictorial representation of the Plastic Sea phenomenon.
The representation should depict what the problem is, where it is, who/what is being affected, and what should be done about it.
The representation should contain at least 8 pictures. Each picture needs a caption of 20-30 words that explains the Plastic Sea phenomenon.
You may use the template found in the class Shared Files to complete this assignment, or build your own format.
