Paper instructions:
1) A minimum of 12 scholarly resources (not textbooks, Wikipedia, or other popular reading magazines).

2) A description of each source and how it is relevant to the cultural analysis of the region your are selecting (each description for each reference should be approximately 150 words)

3) The annotated bibliography is required to be in APA format with an attached MS-Word doc which includes a title page and the annotated bibliography. You will not need a separate reference page for this assignment due to the nature of the assignment.

4) Please arrange the 12 references according to how they relate to the required 4 research questions. The questions are:
1. What are the major elements and dimensions of culture in this region? (See Unit 2, Ch. 7) A discussion of the general elements of culture as they apply to your nation (Communication, Religion, Ethics, Values and Attitudes, Manners, Customs, Social Structures and Organizations, and Education)
2. How are these elements and dimensions integrated by locals conducting business in the nation? You will demonstrate how these elements of culture in Question 1 are used in business dealings by the people of the nation you selected.
3. How do both of the above items compare with US culture and business? Here you will compare and contrast the specific findings with business cultural elements found in the USA by using models for understanding cultures (See Unit 2, Ch. 8. Ex: Hofstedes, Trompenaar’s Model of Culture (universalism vs. particularism, specific vs. diffuse, etc)
4. What are the implications for US businesses that wish to conduct business in that region? Here, you will briefly summarize your research findings, draw substantive conclusions, and then report the implications of your research for doing business in that nation. Questions 1 through 3 set the stage for Question 4. Why is your research important and how can it be used in business dealings for US managers.
