Introduction
Life challenges may have a traumatic effect on people’s behavioral patterns. The experiences that individuals go through determine their future psychological

undertakings. Psychologists found it necessary to analyze the expectations from the society members in dealing with traumatized individuals (Marr, 2010). The objective

of this paper is to make an analysis of the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) with respect to the Behaviorism school of thought.
Research topic and questions
Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) refers to a mind state those results from a terrifying occurrence after an experience or witness. The mental condition results in

flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety and uncontrollable thoughts regarding the event (Watrin, 2012). People going through traumatic events may have a difficult in adjusting

to the normal life processes. Quality self-care facilitates the healing process (Goddard, 2014). The anxiety levels are related to all life processes that are affected

at varying proportions.
In researching on PTSD, the questions will relate to;
What kind of a traumatic event was the individual exposed to?
Was the trauma assault-based or non-assault based?
What is the age of the individual suffering the PTSD?
Does the individual discuss the stressor event?

Research summary
Researching on the PTSD calls for an understanding of the basic factors that play a key role in dealing with the stress condition.  Determination of genetics and other

factors is necessary in addressing the complication at the most fundamental details. Questioning the affected individual advances the general principles on the side

effects that may be part of the solution-finding mission (Goddard, 2014). Individuals are supposed to make an analysis of their experiences in providing a clear

picture regarding the related results that worsen the normal living process. The researcher is also expected to determine the measures that the affected individuals

take in ensuring that they do not go through the traumatic experiences again.
The behaviorism school of thought
Behaviorism is a psychological approach that details philosophies, methodologies and theories. It was started in the twentieth century to react to the mentalist

psychology. PTSD patients have changed behavioral patterns that are different from the rest of the individuals within the society. They will always keep off the events

that contributed to the trauma effect at all cost (Watrin, 2012). The stimulus-response principle explains the stimulus as the traumatic event that determines the

Posttraumatic stress disorder as the response or the reaction. Reactions will be manifested in the different life practices that are part of the PTSD. Reminders of the

past traumatic experiences will result in unusual behaviors that are not preferred by the other society members.
Assumptions
In PTSD, mind/body dualism does not exist. Everything that the patient does is part of his behavior but not the mind. This assumption helps researchers in analyzing

the right attributes as part quality healing process. The PSTD reactions can be observed and measured. The responsiveness advances the rate of psychological procedures

necessary in discovering the stimuli that causes behavior. Learners in the ordinary world may not be passive but they play an active role within their environment. The

PSTD experiences are an outcome of the learning by doing process.  The learning is therefore a behavioral change after the various experiences.
Conclusion
A research on PTSD responds to a number of questions valuable in understanding the history of psychology.  A quality analysis of the psychological condition is well

discussed under the behaviorism school of thought (Goddard, 2014). Different assumptions provide a quality research process of value to psychologists.
