Boom to Bust, the 20’s and 30’s

  In what ways did conceptions of liberty and freedom change during the period of economic prosperity known as the Roaring Twenties and the Great Depression.  How did the role of government change during this period?  Were these changes negative or positive?  Explain your answer.
