Budget Discussion
Paper instructions:
Think of a
health care institution for which you have worked,
currently work, or would like to work, and post an answer to the
following questions in no more than
300 words total:
What does your organization consider to be the strengths of its budget process? What potential improvements or enhancements could be made?
How important is the budget process within your organization? Do you consider the budget to be an effective tool in helping to improve the financial operations of your organization, why or why not?
Are department or service line managers held accountable for performance relative to budget? If so, how?
