Write a short paragraph about how important communication is- not only between you and other clinicians, but also between you and your patients.  Teach the patient in a way they can understand- no matter what their level of experience is with healthcare teaching should be used at the 5th grade level for reading materials and vocabulary. Use the case study and choose a (small) teaching topic (COPD in this case).  Teach the  patient about what they are experiencing with COPD in simple terms 5th grade level. Explain how you would use the nursing process to create a patient education plan that served the patient’s and family’s needs.  You may use bullet points
