compare and contrast two poems
Paper instructions:
the two poems to compare and contrast are “
keeping time” by:
melvin dixon and “twenty one love poems” by: adrienne rich.
i uploaded a picture of the way it should be done.
Write 4 body paragraphs on Rich and also at least 2 block quotes from the poem, looking closely at the language of the poem, then 4 body paragraphs on Dixon, with at least 2 block quotes from the poem. In the last 2 paragraphs, compare and/or contrast the themes/ideas of each poem and the use of poetic devices like symbolism, imagery, or rhythm/meter. Use at least 1 quote from each of the 2 critics and put it in any appropriate place in the paper.
