For the Oedipus plays, the summary would start from ‘Oedipus the King’ section. And the character Iokaste is called as Jocasta in the sparknotes.
The book report need to be compared parent/child relationships.
Iokaste/Oedipus, Ranyevskaya/Anya (they are from ‘The Oedipus plays’) OR Varya, Bracknell/Gwendolen, Troy/Cory, Hannah/Joe Pitt, Prospero/Miranda. (they are from ‘Fences’) Choose one pair from each drama.Then, compare parent/child relationships. Does the parent intimidate the child? Does the child rebel?
