Wide reading PechaKucha

Task Description:
You are required to present a 1-3 minute PechaKucha PowerPoint about the novel you have read for wide reading. A PechaKucha is a type of PowerPoint presentation in which 10 slides are shown for 10 to 20 seconds. Unlike a normal PowerPoint, which uses visuals and text, a PechaKucha only uses 1 visual per slide. The speaker is able to use the slides as a prompt, speaking for roughly 10 to 20 seconds on each slide. You will be stopped at 3 minutes. Your speech should contain the following:

•    A brief synopsis of the novel
•    A description of how the novel conforms to the conventions of crime fiction
•    An explanation of the key themes in the novel
•    An analysis of the composer’s writing and the ways in which they have used language forms and features to express the particular values
