This is interesting. DIAL. (Development Indicators for the Assessment of Learning) assessments assess a large number of students quickly. This type of assessment is
not used for readiness of students but aims to screen students for kindergarten and the like. It often screens for motor, concept, language and behavioral skills.
Has anyone used this type of screening measure for students? Is it a reliable indicator for screening students?

Thank you for sharing! A test score can certainly change given the day, circumstances of the child and mood. Typically, teachers assess formatively and summatively —
often and at the end of a lesson. These types of assessments – when combined – prove to be the best. Why? Because over time a student’s knowledge and comprehension
will not change. Therefore, the continuum will prove the correct score.
