Criticizing Positive Psychology

Consider the following claim: “Positive psychology is implicitly racist. It focuses heavily upon increasing the happiness of white people and pays comparatively less attention to the wellbeing of people of color and ethnic minorities.” Critically discuss this claim. Do you agree that positive psychology is too individualistic? why or why no? cite and discuss evidence to support your case. what evidence supports the claim? What evidence refutes it? Can you offer any creative suggestions for how positive psychologists can avoid being overly individualistic in their work?
