Cultural belief – Spain

Culture is a cultivation of the soul or mind of a person to fall a given set guideline. Cultural belief is a cultivation of a person mind to follow a unit given set of rules as set by a given group of people. It is the philosophy of a person to have a set of similar and accepted norms that are followed by his or her peers (Haarmann, 65).

The cultural belief of Spain can be attributed from the Romans who ruled the country in fifty provinces that were governed with a rule of the Roman Empire. The country has different regions that speak different languages but the country has taken up Spanish as its national language. The country has a rich culture that dates back in 1800s. The name Spain originates from Espana which was derived from the Hispania in the Roman Empire (Haarmann, 65). The country has three set of languages and they include; Castilian Spanish which is the official language and Catalan, Galician and Basque. Because of its rich language diversity and the pattern of communication the country is a rich tourist attraction destinations it offers the best of Spanish culture. The country has rich cultural features which include superb old buildings which were set up in the Roman Empire and a rich history with presence of Castles used in the Roman Era. The country is home to some of the world most re known artists and they include El Gerco and Picasso. The country cultural belief was influenced by the Romans who conquered the country and introduced Christianity as their religion. The culture of the Spanish can not be satisfactory without mentioning the music of the people which vibrates from every corner of their homes. The music is characterized by drama of flamenco and the bagpipes which are very common with the people of Spain. The country’s history is well archived in their many museums and galleries all over the country (Haarmann, 65).

Cultural value – Brazil

Cultural values are the accepted ideas a particular group of people follow. The values are seen as the just, right and fair to all who follow the guidelines in a given society. Cultural values can also be defined as the commonly followed standards of acceptable or important in a given society or community.

Brazil culture values normally refer to the ideas that are commonly accepted in the whole of Brazil. The rule of law in the country is governed by the federal government which operates from the capital city Brasilia. The country has a population of more than 190,000,000 and it’s among the most populated countries in the world. Thus the country is located in the south east of the expansive South American continent and it has a rich culture with a lot of diversity and history (Pettersson and Yilmaz, 45-49). The country is inhabited by mostly whites who are either of Portuguese, German, Italian or Spanish origin then mixed white and blacks and the lesser Asian communities who include the Japanese and the Arabs. The country has a large number of people who follow the Roman Catholic type of religion. The country has a rich and diverse community where most of the people speak a common language. Language is one of the greatest pillars of the country’s unity as almost 100% of the population speaks Portuguese apart from the minority inhabitants who are yet to learn this language. The countries values originate from families where each individual derives a large part of influence from these setting. The families tend to be large and very close and this has been one of the pillars holding the countries cultural values in check (Pettersson and Yilmaz, 45-49).

Cultural norm – Kenya

A cultural norm is a generally accepted behavior among people of a certain group. The norms are seen as behaviors that dictate the law of the society. Sociologists usually view norms as laws that govern a given group of people where each individual is required to follow the set norms. It’s a society expectation for each person to follow and adhere to the set cultural norms as they outline each day’s responsibility (Katzenstein, 31-46).

Kenya is a country located on the Eastern part of the African continent with Uganda on the west, Tanzania on the south and Ethiopia and Southern Sudan on the north and Somalia on the East. The country has a rich culture combined with a large number of people who speak their native language. The community governs most of the individual behavior and group. Due to its rich diversity the country had to come up with a national language to ease the trouble brought about by the many native speakers. English and Swahili are the two accepted official language that help in governing the country. The society in turn help to check the behavior of the individuals so as to live in good morals and peace which is very vital in a country like Kenya with many native and local speakers. The style of communication is kept in check as people keep their traditions and culture in check. For example it’s a responsibility of each person in the community to take care of the kids no matter whether they are yours or not. It’s a common followed behavior among the Kenyan people to hold family values in check (Katzenstein, 31-46).

 

 

Social practice – China

Social practice is the art and design that involves activities that are unique to a given community setting and are geared towards the community interest. Social practice involves broad social networks and cultural practices where expert legal advice is required to define any social disagreement. Social practice involves evaluating the difference in social shared understanding through skills of a given individual among the community. Social practice tries to bring the social mind of each individual in the community to one understanding for better policy formulation in the society (Schatzki, 39).

China is a country located on the Eastern part of Asia. The country is the most populated in the whole world with a population of over 1.3 billion people. The inhabitants of the country are mostly Chinese speaking people while just a little part of the migrants who speak English and other languages. The country has a rich history which dates back to the 15th century and has greatly contributed to the culture of the citizens in China. Due to its socialist type of government the country relies mostly through cultural values and beliefs that have been passed through generation where the community has the largest control of an individual behavior and the way of life. The country has a rich and unique way of life where most of the people still practice the ancient way of living and practices. The country due to its one party rule has made great strides in the growth sector where its economy has seen an enormous growth over the past few years. This can be attributed to its national language where community based organizations have been set up to check the practice of each individual. The government has diversified its operations so as to help the country unity for national building and peace (Schatzki, 39).
