As a part of current practices in Tourism Hospitality and Events, we are organising an afternoon field trip to the Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle. we will have guided tour which discusses the recent development taking place in this urban context and its potential for tourism.
You are required to write a critical report on how urban regeneration in the city of Newcastle has impacted on its tourism, hospitality and events industries.
You will be given credit for:
– the relevance and elegance of the argument
– a clearly structured answer
– demonstrating analytical powers
– original or imaginative thinking
The report should include background information including images and graphics about the issue you are analysing. You should use a wide range of sources in gathering information for this report including academics text and journals, any relevant government reports, newspaper articles, blogs. Please note that all sources must be correctly referenced and you are encouraged to consult the ‘CITE THEM RIGHT’ resource provided by the library for help with the presentation of references.
The report must be word-processed and your name should be printed on the front of the report. The word limit is 3000 (excluding references and appendices). Please include the word count at the end of your report.
