The deliverable paper is 25% of the final grade for SERV 1000.
You can share a copy of this paper with your organization.
Your 5 — 8 page deliverable paper must be put together in a professional and creative manner. In other words, prepare it for your community organization supervisor, but don’t forget to also give it your personal touch
This paper will include:
1) reference to our textbook in relation to your service experiences, 2) community organization information on topics such as demographics, health, education, and fundraising, 3) your thoughts on what a “sense of community” means at the local and/or global level, 4) your thoughts on what you will bring back to your own communities from your service-learning experiences, 5) explain how your service-learning experiences might impress a future employer, 6) a self-evaluation of yourself as a volunteer 7) all the while weaving personal reflections of your service experiences — what went well, what didn’t go well, what you will change for next time,
