Describe a situation in which you were involved with several others who differed from yourself in terms of race, religion, sexuality, physical or mental ability, social class or other dimension along which stereotypes and prejudices commonly exist. What features from among the ideal conditions recommended in the contact literature (Dixon p. 699) did this situation have. Would you regard the situation as one likely to reduce prejudice or reduce stereotypes? Would it support or negate the contact hypothesis? Explain.
