Educational Booklet (at a 10th grade level) due: in two weeks This booklet is intended for use as out reach material for local Indianapolis schools. The booklet must

be a well written I in your own words well organized and well illustrated with clear (geologic) explanations of your chosen topic. You should definitely let someone

you know read your booklet and give you honest feedback on how well it explains your topic. The text and figures must be referenced and each figure should have a

caption written by you. Keep in mind that facts, for example the depth and the age of the Grand Canyon, maybe important components of your explanation but on their own

they do not constitute an explanation. Construct the booklet by printing the text of each page on half of standard (8.5 x 11) paper, thus two pages of your booklet

text fit on one standard 8.5 x 11 page. Print itas on page and then just cut it in half. Next put the pages together in the proper order and staple along one of the

edges with three to four staples to make a binding. The text should be typed. The figures can be Xerox copies from a referenced source with your own figure caption, or

you can make your own figures. The text should thoroughly explain  your topic in a way that any at or beyond 10th grade can understand. Pick one of the topics below

(or if you think of a topic you would rather do that is not on the list e-mail me the topic so I can approve it). Note: YOU WILL RECEIVE NO POINTS FOR TEXT THAT IS NOT

YOUR OWN (i.e. text that has been cut and pasted from the intenet)
