Directions: Write a three paragraph essay addressing the following issues. You need to respond to “A”, “B”, and “C” below.
Each paragraph should contain a well-written topic sentence, and follow all spelling and grammar expectations for upper-classman.
You will be graded on the following:
1. Well-written topic sentences.
2. R.B.E.
3. Clearly explained reflections on personal beliefs.
A. Introduce your political views/philosophy. What were the most interesting things that you learned about yourself during this unit, and how does that relate to your view of human nature. What are your political beliefs/philosophy based on your self-analysis and political surveys? What actions could you or will you take in the future because of the understanding you gained during this unit?
B. What were the most important insights about the issues that you gained from this unit? Discuss issues that you didn’t understand completely, and explain your opinion about those issues now that you know more about them.

1. If you changed your mind about issues, describe what new information led to a change in your view.

2. If you now have a much stronger opinion about issues, what new perceptions led you to have stronger viewpoints?

3. Describe new evidence that was presented on the other side of an issue that you didn’t understand before. Discuss why it didn’t change your opinion, but did change your view on the topic.

4. Discuss some issues that you are unsure about, and explain what questions you still have about those issues.
