Discuss at least three (3) ways in which probation and parole are similar.

The media and many members of the public often confuse probation and parole and seem to consider them the same type of supervision. We, of course, know that while there are areas of similarity, there are a number of differences, as well.
For this assignment, compare and contrast probation and parole. Discuss at least three (3) ways in which probation and parole are similar. And also explain at least three (3) areas in which probation and parole are different.
