Discuss the treatment of childhood with reference to the work of any two or more Victorian writers

Use two texts in particular; Charles Dickens Oliver Twist (W.W. Norton, 1993). ISBN 978-0393962925 and The Mill on the Floss by George Elliot (W. W. Norton, 1994). ISBN 978-0393963328. Try and make comparisons in the way they deal with childhood but also display a knowledge of Victorian of the Victorian Period and cite any historic or contextual occurrence.
