Due to globalisation, it is more important than ever to study Tourism. Discuss, with examples from your own country.
In your final project, you will produce an extended piece of writing of a minimum of 2000 words. This will answer a specific question,
which will be related to the
subject of your degree.
This assessment requires you to do research in order to answer this question – this involves finding sources of information, and summarising, paraphrasing and
synthesising those sources (as you did in semester 1) to answer a specific question in a structured piece of writing.
You will need to demonstrate analytical skills in
your selection and interpretation of sources, and you will be assessed on your ability to combine these sources and summarise and paraphrase arguments according to a
given question and reference fully. You must use a range of sources, and those sources should be appropriate and reliable. Note that Wikipedia is not appropriate!
You will also need to demonstrate that you can use both Harvard in-text and bibliographic referencing effectively. If not, your work may be plagiarised. The nature of
the questions are such that most of what you write will be information from sources written by someone else; not necessarily your own opinion. This means you should
put an in-text reference within almost every sentence, not just at the end of a paragraph.
Place an order in 3 easy steps. Takes less than 5 mins.
