HDL 670—Research outline and citations
The purpose of this assignment is to allow you to begin structuring the flow of your research paper and to present your scholarly resources in a meaningful way. Each main point that you present in your research project must be supported by scholarly research, so this assignment allows you to show how you are connecting your ideas to the research.
Please follow the outline below to complete the assignment. This template allows you to follow the research paper guidelines. Insert a brief summary of your thoughts and ideas for each section and include a citation for each resource. The sections where you discuss your reflections from the interview and/or immersion experience may be left blank for this assignment. Use the noted headings below in the outline and your research paper.
VERY IMPORTANT: The citation must be in APA format and when possible, please include the permalink from the online library resources.

Introduction of Diverse Population/Cultural Group
• Include a historical overview and citations of research related to the diverse population (4-5 sources)
• Include a personal reflection stating rationale of choosing the diverse population
Supporting Research
• Share the research findings of relevant empirical studies and citations (6-8 sources) related to the chosen diverse population
• Share the findings of relevant research and citations (2-4 sources) connecting the chosen diverse population to your career field
Personal Reflections of Field Experiences (these will be blank in the outline)
• Reflect on your field experiences (interview and immersion experience) from a leadership perspective
• Compare and contrast your research findings with information gathered during your field experiences
References
• Cite reference list in APA format
