What doesnt make any sense is that the history of the US was built on biblical values and now we re de valuing religion. Why?

The presence of God is removed and won t that instill more fear, more animosity in the population and less acceptance of religious freedoms? What doesnt make any sense is that the history of the US was built on biblical values and now we re de valuing religion. Why? For acceptance of all? Shouldn t there be some sort of acceptance of all for the beliefs and values that this country was founded on?
