Double Indemnity
Paper instructions:
(1) explain how Double Indemnity is a good example of film noir; and
(2) explain how the film FITS Mulvey’s argument (see notes below)
The MAN
• is a developed, 3-dimensional character.
• is active.
• is the one who LOOKS, the spectator (and the camera tends to look WITH him).
