DSM-5

After reviewing the DSM-5 Powerpoint, and doing further research on your own on the internet, you should be able to write a 2 page summary answering the three items below.  This paper should be in your own words without positively no plagiarism!

1. Summarize three of the organizational changes made to the DSM-5.



2. Describe the modifications made to the multi-axial system in the DSM-5.



3. Cite two new diagnoses, as well as two revised diagnoses, presented in the DSM-5.

4.  How will the field of substance abuse counseling be affected by the changes in the DSM-5?  What will the impact be on our clients?
