Using a wide range of theory sources, diagrams and real world examples to illustrate your work, compare and contrast a competitive market of your choice with a monopoly market, giving careful consideration of: i. The characteristics of each market ii. The advantages and disadvantages of each for the consumer.

The assignment should be in essay format (ie. No headings/sub-headings, but clearly structured). The maximum word limit for the assignment (excluding references, tables, footnotes, charts, graphs, figures) is 2500 words. The word count must be stated in the assignment cover sheet. Full academic referencing using the APA referencing style should be used throughout the assignment
