Imagine yourself being the owner or director of a UK business of your choice at present.
1.  Conduct a research outlining the economic environment facing your business.

2.  How has your business been impacted by the past few years’ as well as the current economic conditions?  Use concrete figures to substantiate your claim.

3.  Based on the current economic environment, project what the economy would be like in 5 years’ time and what strategies you would adopt to fit your business into this projected operating environment.

4.  If you were to hire someone to help you work towards these goals mentioned in (3) above, what post would you create for him/her?  Design a list of job specification for this post and 10 questions you would ask the candidates during their interviews to help you select the right person for the job.
