Up to this point, you have been placed in the role of an emergency manager and you have been asked to research the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster, draft an

emergency response plan, and have your peer review it and make recommendations. This is the final component of your research project. You are now asked to create a

memo to the legislature (see the assignment requirements below).

Remember, this is your final assignment and the last component to your course project.
This final component of the course project is due at the end of this unit—Unit 10.

Assignment Requirements
In your memo, you will include the following:

•A comparison of the findings for the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster.
•Provide a detailed comparison between your own plan and the Chernobyl disaster.
•Emphasize how our own plan differs from the government response to Chernobyl.
•Explain, to the legislature, how your own plan is better than Chernobyl’s plan.
In addition, you will meet the following criteria:

•Write in a professional manner, using APA formatting.
