For your essay, come up with two examples of creative destruction that have impacted you. Provide one example that has positively influenced your life, and then think of one example that has negatively influenced your life. For each example, identify what was being eliminated and what ended up replacing it. Next, outline how you benefited or were harmed by the creative destruction. Also, explain the outcome of the creative destruction by identifying all the different parties that were impacted, and if the result was fair or unfair. Be sure to describe the result of the creative destruction such as greater efficiency or improved quality. For example, Is it possible that online courses will eventually replace traditional classroom courses? If classroom courses disappear, then what happens to all of the faculty and staff that teach those courses?
