Entrepreneur in Focus

Develop a case study around Adi Dassler, the founder of adidas (not his company).

The task is to develop a case study based on a critique of the entrepreneur and their entrepreneurial achievements. The objective is not to merely provide a story of achievements and events, but critique these against theoretical constructs (see note below). The following factors should also be considered:

Financial backing
Previous history/performance/attempts
Family background/role models
Attitudes to risk
Entrepreneurial orientation (VERY IMPORTANT)
Milestones/Chronology of significant events
Variables presented in Chapters 1, 2 & 3 of Timmons et al (2010)

The main body of the report will be no more than 3,000 words long (plus appendices). Be reminded that this is an academic report, and as such, references and appropriate literature are to be cited (at least 3 academic journal articles, the front page of each to be included in your report).
