-Introduction- briefly how speaking was tested in the past (ie audio-lingual period etc), problems with it, overall shift towards the communicative framework bringing about significant changes in teaching, learning and testing.

-Define communicative framework

-How is speaking currently tested under the communicative framework

-List the problems in testing speaking under the communicative framework under separate subheadings and CRITICALLY ANALYSE each.

-CRITICALLY ANALYSE and EVALUATE propositions put forward in academic papers
