Think about how the topic of ethics is relevant in legal drafting. Write a two page paper about ethical concerns in drafting legal documents. Relate these concerns to paralegals. Please give at least one concrete example of an ethical dilemma, and how you would resolve it. Use ARDC guidelines and Illinois Supreme Court Rules to answer this question. Hint: this is a critical thinking assignment. There is no perfect “textbook” answer. Use what you know about the importance of ethical conduct in the legal profession to guide your answer. Tell me what is right, what is wrong, and how the legal profession can improve in this area. I do not expect you to read every rule for this class, but please look at several, including the comments after them. I think you will find them interesting.
