Ethical Rules for the Construction Industry

Week 4 –Test Instructions Based on the lectures notes, discussions, the AIA, ASCE, and selected ABA Model Rules (from Week 4 lecture notes), and any research you have

conducted, you are to draft a set of Ethical Rules for the Construction Industry. These rules should be drafted as if they were to govern the ethical responsibilities

of Contractors and Construction Managers. Do not simply copy rules from the above sources and change a few words. Use these rules as a guide only, be original, and

make sure the rules address areas of concern in the construction industry. Your grade will be based on the following: Title/Heading Spelling/grammar Layout Content -No

less than 5 rules with appropriate subsections -No less than 2 pages in length You can either log into the test and draft your answers during the 2-hour time limit, or

(suggested) draft your answers ahead of time and copy & paste your Rules to the exam.

Timely Submission (by end of course)       5 points
Spelling and Grammer                              15 points
Minimum of 2 pages (single-spaced)        25 points
Minimum of 5 (substantive) rules             50 points
