In 2000 words (+/-10%) answer ONE of the following three questions. You must use biopsychosocial assessment skills, theories (including social work, psychological and sociological, as appropriate), ideas about domains of practice and the AASW Code of Ethics to provide a comprehensive overview of the ethical issues in the case study related to the role of the social worker and demonstrating how social workers work ethically in an environment of competing interests.
1.    Max is well known in the small community in which he lives, especially in relation to his drug and alcohol use. Determine the ways in which his addictions may influence your work with him based on your own beliefs about such activities.
2.    Identify two to three assumptions you made about Max, George and Judy. Explore the ways in which not being cognisant of these assumptions may have influenced your work with the family.
3.    You noticed bruising on Judy’s arm. You later find out that this was caused by Max. Explore any assumptions you made about this feature of the case study, and how such assumptions may impact on your work with this family.
