2, You are required to develop a ‘Sustainable Event Case Study’ (SEC) for consideration for a prestigious international sustainability award, by a panel of expert judges. The SEC you develop can be for a specific festival / event, or for an event space / venue. Using the ‘Glastonbury Festival’ as an event in this paper.
Your SEC should be developed through individual desk based research but may be supplemented by site visits if considered appropriate (again venue suitability and appropriate risk assessment should be agreed with your tutor prior to any visit). Under no circumstances should you contact the event / venue directly.
3, you must use THEORY: Economic Sustainability , Social Sustainability and Environment Sustainability.

In this task you are asked to share your experiences (as attendee or event management team) of good and bad practice in relation to sustainability and events.
Be prepared to highlight the most insightful examples – for consideration by the whole seminar group – in our closing discussion. How you organise the discussion is up to your group, but you may wish to utilise one of the frameworks below to structure your task.
