Every department store has problems with people retuning merchandise. The returned merchandise has to be checked and repackaged, thus necessitating a group of employees to handle it which increases the store’s overhead. Statistics indicate that most returns are made by a small segment of the customer base. As the manager of the store, what measures can you come up with to target these habitual returners?
