Part II: Confucianism Essay [75 points]

Write a 350- to 700-word essay on Confucianism that addresses the following topics:

  • What are the Five Great Relationships?
  • How is the Ideal Person to act?
  • What is the role of Confucianism in Chinese culture and society today?

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines. This means:

  1. Include proper APA-style in-text citations for all paraphrased material (anything not common knowledge) and any direct quotations. Be sure to use quotation marks when quoting, and include the page number in citations for quotes.
  2. Include a reference page with properly formatted APA-style reference citations. (The reference page is pre-formatted in the paper template provided.)

Write in third-person voice.

Create an illustration representative of the Shinto religion, based on the beliefs of openness, use of nature, and deliberate simplicity.
