Conducting a thorough and systematic literature review is a critical first step in evaluating one’s research hypothesis. An example of a literature review for a homeland security research topic is the document “Understanding Community Resilience in the Context of National Health Security: A Literature Review.”  This literature review is comprehensive and shows how professional researchers systematically conduct their review. Beginning on pages 4-5 the researchers describe their literature review methodology; in Appendix A on pages 33- 34 they show the method they used for selecting key information in their literature review. Explain the literature review technique used by the researchers for this article on national health security.  Identify at least two techniques found in your text that are also used in this literature survey.
